InterMed is primed and ready to meet the rapidly changing, complex, and competitive needs of health care providers operating under managed care, prospective payment systems, and government reimbursement systems in dynamic phases of transition.

Merging modern marketing techniques with sound business and accounting principles, computer technology, and capital financing alternatives, the InterMed team has developed multi-facility and management strategies designed to best position health care providers to take advantage of the “strategies of choice” in new, more competitive marketplaces while at the same time delivering the highest achievable level of patient services and strong financial performance and returns on investor capital.

The InterMed organization was created by Michael L. Daffin and James M. Boyd, III, both Licensed Nursing Home Administrators with considerable background in direct facility management, and who have recruited a multifaceted management team, including nursing and patient care systems, dietician consulting services, physical plant maintenance / design / contracting /construction, and accounting plus computer services.

InterMed capabilities range from total management services for new and existing health care facilities, to development of design and marketing concepts for new facility construction, specific “project” consulting for government compliance problem solving, finder services for buyers, sellers, and/or investors in health care assets, and assistance with financing of acquisition or, physical plant improvement capital needs.
